I wanted to participate. I had several ideas floating through my head. I even started a card for the Nightmares on Cardboard III contest being held at http://thorzul.blogspot.com. I missed it.
I spent much of October's spare time fretting over my first-ever author appearance. I wasted my time doing so, and thus missed yet ANOTHER year of Nightmares. Well, that gives me a year to concentrate and work on the 2011 contest (always assuming there will be a 'next time').
I hope the other entrants do well, and I'm looking forward to seeing this year's cards!
I did the same thing. I drafted an idea or two (far from the finished project) a few weeks ago, but one thing led to another and they were never finished. Alas.
