Okay, folks! Here we go!!
In Blogger:
The Wilsons grabbed an early lead, but could not hold on as the FDNYs scored 4 runs in the 3rd.
The JoshDs and the Tribecards were tied going into the 9th, but the Tribecards took the game and the 1st Round!
The PlayAtThePlates scored 3 runs in 2 innings and held on to lead the series 2-1 over CaptainCanucks.
The NachosGrandes and Superduperman99s were scoreless through 7, but NachosGrandes put a single point on the board, enough to win the game and move ahead in the series 2-1.
Now, let's look at the Wordpress League:
The GCRLs inched their way through the game. Despite a great effort by the Workmans, GCRLs won the game in the bottom of the 9th to keep alive in that series!
The BoRosnys forgot they were playing today, letting the Kazis run over them completely. The Kazis ended the game with 15 runs, 21 hits, and 1 error. BoRosnys did manage to score 2 runs in the 9th to end the game with 5 runs on 9 hits and 2 errors.
As the Dawgbones and Thorzuls entered the 7th inning, they were tied 3-3. The Dawgbones added a couple more as the Thorzuls tried to save the game and take the series, but they couldn't do it. The Dawgbones keep alive in the series, trailing 2-1.
The Hadsalls scored a run in the 1st, but that was all they could manage. The Quarrys take the game and the series, as the move ahead to Round 2.
So, we have two teams that will sit and wait out the rest of Round 1! Congratulations to Tribecards and Quarrys!!
