Ouch.

Lee checks his arm after getting hit. The trainer said he was fine. Maybe they should have called in a shrink instead.

The Indians lost the Rangers' home opener in Arlington 9-1. Ouch. That's a rough way to start the season, but I have to give credit to the Rangers for taking advantage of the situation and for winning their home opener. Yeah, I hate that it came against the Tribe, but I always want the home team to win their Opening Day game. It just makes for good baseball.

Some fans are already crying and saying how bad the Tribe will be this year, blah, blah, blah. Look, it's ONE GAME. It's the FIRST GAME - well, first REAL game anyway. Even I have been guilty of making negative comments about the beloved Indians during the pre-season, but one game does not make a season.

In the meantime, my Trundles team in Cards-on-Cards' fantasy league didn't fair too badly, all things considered. Of course, my fantasy team is basically all Tribers. Yeah, that's how I do the fantasy sports thing - pick a team and try to get all the players from the MLB team on it. Maybe that's why I'm not good. LOL... We'll see!

  1. Lee had a rough day! There is still 161 to go!

  2. Lee still had a 5:1 K/BB ratio. Not the worst thing in the world. I agree. Let's hope he gets better!

  3. Thats true but they have to win the games in October and September - not the ones in April. The Twins look like they will be tough - not sure about the White Sox.
