PAD Circus - 065 - Stars and Stripes on Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day, everyone! Hope you are enjoying a day with friends and family - or just hanging out by yourself. Either way, hope it is a fun, relaxing day. I have three packs of Stars and Stripes Longevity left, so what better time to open those than today?

Brice Turang Longevity - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!!)
Blake Paugh Longevity - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!! x2 Back-to-Back!!)
Andrew Moore Longevity - Mariners - Cool Breeze (Wahoo!!)
Alejandro Toral Game Gear (051/299) - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!! x3)
Joe DeMers - College Ball - FREE AGENT

WOW! Ryan G nearly swept the pack! Very cool game gear card in there for sure. I found conflicting reports on DeMers. One site has him listed with the Mariners, but I could not find any other site to back it up, but I am listing him as College Ball.

Let's open another!

Tyler Beede Longevity - Giants - Arpsmith (Wahoo!!)
Trea Turner Longevity - Nationals - CaptKirk42 (Wahoo!!)
Tate Matheny Longevity - Red Sox - Thoughts & Sox (Wahoo!!)
Elih Marrero Longevity Black (24/49) - Reds - Nachos Grande (Wahoo!!)
Hugh Fisher - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!!)
US Baseball Shop Ad Card - Filler - Ventura County Royals (Wahoo!!)

So, is Elih (with an H) related to former MLB player Eli (without an H)? I dunno and I didn't check. In any case, congrats to each manager that pulled some cool cardboard out of this pack! I really like these Stars and strips cards. It's funny, though. The "plain" versions (that is, the non-Longevity) would have to be rarer since you only get one per pack, I would think.

Final Pack:

Kyle Schwarber Longevity - Cubs - Sons of Diagoras (Wahoo!!)
Justin Bullock Longevity - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!!)
Jack Flaherty Longevity - Cardinals - Wilson (Wahoo!!)
Trey Killian Longevity - Rockies - Infield Fly Rule (Wahoo!!)
Devin Ortiz - High School - Ryan G (Wahoo!! x2)

Killian hails from University of Arkansas! That's pretty cool to pull a card from a "local" guy. Congratulations to everyone!

In case the "High School" category raises an eyebrow or two, here is how that works: If I reveal a player that is undrafted by MLB and has a graduation date of 2017 or later (at least for this season's PAD Circus), then they are put into the HS category. There is, of course, a chance of the player having been drafted and still gets listed as HS if I couldn't easily find their draft status. All I can offer in those cases is a shoulder shrug and an apology.
