Hey folks! Thanks for stopping by tonight. I will run the draft on Monday evening, as has become something of the norm with that particular event. I haven't even looked to see how many folks have taken part so far nor what the spread of players seems to be. I don't know why I even bother with the last. Before i run the draft, I like to look over the list of everyone's choices to try to get a feel for things. But, invariably I miss players or neglect to see duplicates until I run the "Find All" draft. Then suddenly, there are 15 of this player or 7 of that one. By the end of the draft, most names are simply singles that no one else but that one manager wanted. Ideally, I think that's how we'd all like it: we each pick our players and we're the only manager to pick those players. I can't see that ever happening. If it does, I'll buy some hobby box of something and share the wealth. haha!
Tonight, I'm opening one of the packs from Mark. This is a 1990 Topps Traded. 7 cards per pack.
Matt Sinatro - Mariners - Free Agent
Bud Harrelson - Mets - Paul Hadsall (Wahoo!!)
Wayne Tolleson - Yankees - Free Agent
Lloyd Moseby - Tigers - Free Agent (but not for long!)
Hubie Brooks - Dodgers - ScottCrawfordOnCards (Wahoo!!)
Daryl Boston - Mets - Captain Canuck (Wahoo!!)
Tim Layana - Reds - Free Agent
First off, congrats to the managers who snagged players from this pack! Second, Moseby is in the current draft, so there is a good chance someone will walk away with this card this week. Unless no one picked him. Surely not.
