Howdy, folks! Well, any of you out there affected by the nationwide shutdown of Centurylink's Internet services!? I was, at the house. Our DSL was spotty at best for a while and then completely dead. When I finally reached customer service, they said there was a known outage. As the day progressed, word got out that this was a HUGE outage. Ouch.
Well, things are hopping now, so I am going to bust out a Two-for-Tuesday!
First up: 1988 Donruss. 1 puzzle and 15 cards per pack.
Stan Musial puzzle 22, 23, 24 - Cardinals - Stealing Home (Wahoo!!)

We ended up with 1/3 of the items in the pack going out to managers. Not great, but that means a whole new slew of folks ready for the pickin's in the next free agent draft, right?
Our second pack today is 2013 Gypsy Queen. 6 cards per pack.
Frank Robinson - Reds - Andr340 (Wahoo!!)
Matt Cain No Hitters - Giants - Adam Smith (Wahoo!!)
Jayson Werth Glove Stories - Nationals - Brauer144 (Wahoo!!)

Well, jumpin' Jehoshaphat Three Reds and two Nationals in a pack of six cards!? Granted, Brauer scored a double-play (or a back-to-back, if you prefer... Or perhaps even a Two-for-Tuesday)! Certainly a lucky break. We did manage to find one free agent in the pack, but seeing as how the other cards panned out, it seems like a small consolation.
I'm the King Of All Puzzles! Wahoo!
ReplyDeleteHaha, sure looks that way. Was that planned (meaning you picked players you knew were puzzles)?
