There was also a "Match the Stats" game card in the pack. The prize was a pack of 1992 ToppsGold cards if I could scratch off three spots that matched the stat before I scratched an OUT. The sta is "Triple Crown MVP Frank Robinson in '66 led the Majors in HR's with 49."

There are 8 spots on the card. Let's see how I did:

BLAST! I should have known better than to hit it down the first base line on my second at-bat. For the curious, here is what the rest of the card looked like:

Welp, if we see another one of these, we'll try again. If we end up a winner, I'll buy a pack of 1992 ToppsGold online and bust it open for the giveaway!

  1. I have something like 30-ish of these scratchoffs that I've been sitting on for a while, trying to decide what to do with them. There's a post in it somewhere, I just haven't found it yet.

    1. A few years ago, I did a whole contest using the Triple Play Scratch-off game. After that was over, I had the brilliant (note the sarcasm) notion that I could create my OWN scratch-off game. I even bought the scratch-off stickers to go on game cards and developed game cards to mimic the Triple Play ones. It went nowhere fast! Haha. I still have the scratch-off stickers. I'm sure I'll come up with some kind of contest or something to use them.
