182 Packs of Baseball - Rules Update

**NOTE: I am making a slight change regarding the Stadium Club cards. I have 25-30+ packs of these, and in the interest of fairness, I am placing any TEAM/PLAYER cards with their respective claimant(s), then Andy will get ALL unclaimed Stadium Club cards.

Sorry if this causes any bad feelings, but I did not realize just how many packs of these I had!

To that end, I will say that I cannot in good conscience give all the cards from any particular brand to any one person.  So, I am amending the rules of my giveaway to say that you *can* claim all the UNCLAIMED cards from any particular set/brand.  The "unclaimed" status applies to the end of the regular season.  So, as mentioned above, whatever teams/players go unclaimed when the last day of the regular season arrives, Andy will receive the Stadium Club cards (1993+) of those unclaimed cards.

I think it's the fairest way to do things. I'm not out to "rip anybody off."  I'm here to spread the joy of collecting to as many folks as I can. :-)

Remember, readers, you can jump on board at any time!

The rest of the rules are here:

182 Packs of Baseball - 007

Today's pack features cards from the 1997 Pinnacle Hobby set.  There are 10 cards in the pack. Let's see what we've got today:

Rico Brogna - Mets
Dave Hollins - Mariners
Shane Reynolds - Astros
Gary Gaetti - Cardinals

John Flaherty - Padres
Scott Stahoviak - Twins
Fernando Viva - Brewers

Curt Schilling - Phillies
Juan Gonzalez - Rangers
Bill Swift - Rockies

Each day of the regular baseball season, I am busting open a pack of baseball cards.  These are packs that I have laying around and/or that I have purchased recently on a whim.  I list the cards in the pack and scan in some of them.  I shoot for 9 cards, but sometimes I may scan more, other times fewer.  It all depends on how things hit me in that particular pack.  Oh yes, there will be duplication.  I have a TON of packs from certain brands/years.  I will, however, try to mix things up throughout the season.

For those keeping score, I know there are not actually 182 GAMEDAYS in the 2012 season.  I am counting ALL the days between Opening Day and the last day of the regular season.  Frankly, it's easier that way.  Thanks for playing along.

Today, we bust open a pack of 1995 Topps Series One.  This is a "Power Pack," according to the label.  How is that different from a standard pack of '95 Topps? I dunno, and I'm not interested enough to go look it up. All I know is that we are crusing along through the season.  Well, pulling out of the gates, anyway, right?

Mark Dewey - Pirates
Todd Zeile - CYBERSTATS - Cardinals
CJ Nitkowski - Draft Pick - Reds
Melvin Nieves - Padres

Barry Bonds/Ken Griffey Jr - 1994 Topps All Star - Giants/Mariners
Matt Williams/Wade Boggs - 1994 Topps All Star - Giants/Yankees
Domingo Cedeno - Blue Jays
Benny Santiago - Marlins
Walt Weiss - Rockies
Mike Hampton - Astros

Tim Spehr - Expos
Scott Servais - Astros
Johnny Ruffin - Reds
Luis Lopez - Padres
Willie Blair - Rockies
