Bo Knows Tribecards

During the Tribe-O-Matic Tourney, I received an envelope from Bo!  Now that the dust has settled a bit, let's take a look inside:

Kevin Bearse rookie Bowman card. 1990 was the only season in which he played.  He pitched in 3 games (7.3 IP) and garnered a whopping 12.91 ERA.  Hey, for $100,000, I'd happily pitch seven innings for the Tribe!  Then, we have Herb Perry's UD Prospect card. He played three seasons with the Tribe. His 2nd season was his best with a .315 AVG.  And then there was V-Mart. He played 8 seasons with the Indians, and I hated to see him get booted during the fire sale that is the Indians management strategy.

Up next, Thomas Howard on Topps Gold. Howard played most of '92 and part of '93 with the Indians. He averaged close to .250 with 55 RBIs.  In 1993, he was traded for Randy Milligan. Yeah, I don't remember Milligan either.  Cory Snyder, however, is one of the All-Time Tribe fan favorites.  He played with the Tribe for nearly five seasons.

Albert Belle finishes up the gift from Bo! Belle (Joey to his friends) played eight seasons for the Tribe.  Much like my appreciation of Michael Jackson, I appreciate Belle's baseball career aside from his personal shenanigans.

Bo knows interviews!

If you're not reading "Baseball Cards Come to Life," you are seriously missing out on some great entertainment!  Bo asks baseball players about the hobby and about their favorite card of themselves!  It's amazing what people will divulge about themselves - not to mention what their spouses may say!

You have got to check it out next time you are poking around online, looking for some fun card-related posting.

Bo Knows... Tribe cards!

I had a package in the mail from Lynbrook! That means one thing: Bo knows Tribe cards. I love getting cards in the mail, and where there not just "cards," it's even more fun.

Bo sent a variety of cards in his bubbleope, including some Topps Big and various UD brands, but he also included stickers and sticker backs. Well, okay, the sticker backs still have the stickers on the other side (Sorry Kevin and dayf, but you will not be getting them since there are Tribers on the backs!), but the backs include Cy Young and Tris Speaker! I wonder if UD will do something like these since they no longer have their MLB license...

Now, before I go, I want you to take a look at the Manny Ramirez card. It's a Topps. Just keep that card in mind... Mainly the image on the card. You'll understand why in my next post.

In the meantime, THANK YOU very much, Bo!! This is a great variety of Indians cards!
