  1. I think part of the problem with getting players to populate on rosters in the game is that the birthdates aren't adjusted to fit into a player's normal playing years. Their birthdates in the game are historically accurate, so for example, in the game Rogers Hornsby is 115 years old and so my team automatically releases him for being super elderly. The only players who have a chance to make a roster in the game are those who are currently playing in real life or are recently retired. Everyone else gets released because they are old. I know there is an option in some types of games to adjust birthdates, but I don't know how that setting is activated in this game situation.

    1. Well, the problem I have is that I specifically told the game which players I wanted where, but it still grabbed players beyond my specified lists. I submitted a topic on the OOTP boards about it, but no one seems to have answer. Ah well, as we fill out players in the game, this should keep only drafted player on board. And, next season, we shouldn't have this problem at all because I will do pre-season drafts very early. I can edit player birthdates by hand, so maybe I should make sure older players were born in, say, 1992.

    2. That seems like a lot of effort to put in. I would hope there would be a setting somewhere that would make the adjustment for you when the game is initiated.
