PAD Circus - 052 - Premier Edition (Hint: It's NOT O-Pee-Chee)

Hello, everyone! Recently, I managed to scoop up three packs of a "Premier Edition" product. I will open one of those packs now and the others will show up at some point during the season.  These were some of my favorite cards when they came out, mainly because they were not Topps. There was nothing wrong with Topps, but seeing something different in the boxes at my local "dairy store" (what we called it) brought a new excitement to our neighborhood collectors.

Let's roll back the clock and rip open a pack of 1981 Fleer!

Frank White (gum stuck on) - Royals - Ventura County Royals (Wahoo!!)
Joe Charboneau - Indians - Enamel Rods (Wahoo!!)
Scott McGregor - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!!)
Ed Farmer - White Sox - Dominic FDNY (Wahoo!!)
Rich Murray - Giants - Arpsmith (Wahoo!!)
Gary Gray - Indians - Tribecards (Wahoo!!)
Tippy Martinez - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!! x2)
Tony LaRussa - White Sox - Dominic FDNY (Wahoo!! x2)
Earl Weaver - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!! x3)
Lou Whitaker - Tigers - Ryan G (Wahoo!!)
Mark Corey - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!! x4)
Ross Grimsley - Indians - Enamel Rods (Wahoo!! x2)
Lee May - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!! x5)
Dan Petry - Tigers - Ryan G (Wahoo!! x2)
Rick Burleson - Red Sox - Thoughts & Sox (Wahoo!!)
Tony Perez - Red Sox - Thoughts & Sox (Wahoo!! x2, Back-to-Back!!)
Gary Roenicke - Orioles - Pedersej (Wahoo!! x6)

WOW! Congratulations to Pedersej! I can't believe we pulled SIX Orioles from one pack of cards. That is crazy! That is also 80's collation from Fleer - Haha! Congrats also go out to those folks who still managed to pull more than one player out of this one. And, of course, I have to give a nod to those of us that managed to get anything at all, given the multi-card handouts going on here. We also managed to pull only cards that had no error/variations.  What a fun walk back in time!

  1. What a beautiful pull! I already have the "base" version of Frank White....but the "Gum Frame Parallel" is something I've wanted to add to my collection for awhile!
