Tribecards from Outer Space: Repack Revenge

Continuing from yesterday's post, I am opening the packs of cards found in a 10-pack repack I picked up at Target on Saturday. I have noticed that many of these packs have the Target $1.59 UPC sticker on them. I have a feeling the local distro guy opened the boxes, searched the packs, then replaced the packs with target bargain bin jobbies.  Please not that I have no proof nor am I accusing. I'm just making an observation.

Tribecards from Outer Space: The (card collector's) Cardinal Sin

While shopping with my wife and daughter today, I committed the cardinal sin of card collectors: I bought a 10-pack repack box. I know, I know, but I was caught up in a moment of weakness. I had actually gone to snag a few $1.59 packs, but I saw the repack box, and well, I gave in. So, the next few posts will be the results of those packs. Since it is already 11:35pm CST on Saturday night, I will just open the first pack.

Tribecards from Outer Space: Better Nate than Lever - A Pack and a Draft

Well, my son's team lost 12-1, putting them out of the contest for state. It was a hard way to go out for his final game of his high school career. For what it's worth, the whole team suffered from poor batting and an ump that couldn't decide where the strike zone should be. In his defense, the ump blew calls on both sides, so at least he was consistent in his ridiculousness.

Let's open a pack and get the Free Agent Draft going to help turn this evening around!

Tribecards from Outer Space: Three for Thursday

This will probably come back to bite me in the butt, however, I am going to try and keep up with the 2-for-Tuesday, 3-for-Thursday thing I've started. I think it adds some fun to the breaks. It is also an attempt to appease you before I drop some not-so-good news: Friday's break and Draft will be late. Unlike the last time said this, Friday really will be late because of my son's baseball game.  His team (Prescott Curley Wolves) has made the Regionals, so I will be cheering him and his teammates on Friday night. I will get things posted, but it could be very late (possibly even very early Saturday morning, depending on when we get back). Wish him luck!
