#PackADailyCircus - 112 - Still Playing catch-up - BIG Hall-of-Famers!

Hey, everyone! After a visit to the doctor to rule out some kind of freak summertime flu, I was given some VERY strong meds which rendered me useless (but entertaining, if you ask the family) thus I was in no condition to post. We aren't sure what I have, but at least I am recovered enough to bust open some wax. What better way to get back into the swing of things that to break open a pack of 1990 Topps BIG! Er, before i do: I will roll out a draft this weekend and I am seriously hoping to have us caught up with OOTP before the weekend gets away from me. Yes, I know, i said that before...

Dennis Eckersley - A's - Illinois Jafronius (Wahoo!!) - Now THAT is how to kick things off, for sure! How about a little Eck action!!

Willie Wilson - Royals - Free Agent - Another surprise free agent. Welp, he'll be in the hunt for sure if I can verify his eligibility!

Andre Dawson - Cubs - Arpsmith (Wahoo!!) - Another great pull, another HOF'er! This is a BIG pack, indeed.

Jeff Hamilton - Dodgers - Free Agent - According to the back, he loves(-ed) bowling. "Here, I prefer strikes" it says. So witty, those Topps writers.

Mike Gallego - A's - Free Agent - The second A's player to make an appearance. This one is up for grabs.

Pat Tabler - Royals - Ventura County Royals (Wahoo!!) - Unfortunately for our third hit, he was never even considered for the HOF. But, it makes a great card to add to the VC Royals stack!

Eric Davis - Reds - Northampton Therapists (Wahoo!!) - Davis was considered for the HOF in 2007, but fell very, very short of getting enough votes. Like Tabler, though, this card makes for a nice addition to the Therapists collection.

Billy Spiers - Brewers - Free Agent - "Bill" as he listed in several online venues was never invited to the HOF ballot. As a side note, according to the back of his card, in 1986 he hit .418 for the Alaska League. Talk about your hot streak... (I'm trying to hone my Topps writing skills, you see?)

Congrats to HOF-nabing managers and to the other who will get some cool cards for their collections!
