Tribecards from Outer Space: A Pretty Good Year, mostly

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I hope everyone enjoyed the All-Star Game last night. Kipnis knocked in an RBI! Very cool stuff there.  Tonight's pack comes from the same year my son was born. If that doesn't help, then it is the same year "Toy Story" first took the world by storm. No? Lightning McQueen's racing number? How about the year in which Hideo Nomo won ROY? Okay, how about the year the Indians faced the Braves in the Powwow Series?  And, boy did the Indians get pow'd. wow! Tom Glavine was the series MVP. Wow, we had a LOT of free agents come out of that pack. I didn't even remember having Rodriguez on my team. haha! Those crazy drafts for ya, I suppose! I looked back through, and it was a Fleer card from his Twins days a few years after the "future stars" card came out. Cool.  Congrats to the managers snagging players from this pack, too! I was surprised that Knoblauch was still available.

Speaking of availability, I've had a couple managers ask about holding another "Open Draft" where you could fill in your own choices like we did at the beginning. Chime in: What do you think? Would it be helpful and/or fun to have a 10-player fill-in draft? The hardest part at this point would be making sure no one had already picked the player. That would be on me, though. I would not expect you to keep up with who has whom on their team.  Anyway, leave a comment and let me know...
