182 Packs of Baseball - Day 127 - Street Sheets

Yeah, for the heck of it, I decided to add the word "Day" up there in the title. Since I think I have actually already blown by 187 Packs (or most certainly will have by the end of the season), I figured "Why Not?"

Today, I'm doing a weird cello pack of 2006 Topps Series I & II.  I say "weird" because it looks like a triple hanger-type but with only one section.  No where on the thing does it say, "Contains XX cards."  That makes me suspicious.  That, and the fact that Barry Bonds is on top.  i cannot help but think there are some shenanigans going on.

Barry Bonds - Giants
Troy Percival - Tigers
Carlos Lee - Brewers
Brian Giles - Padres
Frank Robinson - Nationals
Shawn Estes - Diamondbacks
Huston Street - A's
Preston Wilson - Nationals
Giles/Jones - Braves Team Card
Luis Castillo - Marlins - Rawlings Gold Glove Award
Derrek Lee - Cubs - Rawlings Gold Glove Award
Brian Moehler - Marlins
Ben Johnson - Padres
John Rodriguez - Cardinals
Ben Sheets - Brewers
Andy Sisso - Royals
Buddy Bell - Royals
Craig Counsell - Diamondbacks
Roy Oswalt - Astros
Sean Casey - Pirates
Matt Murton - Cubs
Lyle Overbay - Blue Jays

Bonds looks like he was edited into the photo. It's always nice to get Frank Robinson on a card.

  1. I admire your tenacity...I think I'd get overwhelmed with this type of exercise. Keep it up!

  2. Alright! One of the reasons I snatched up the A's was because of some Padres who spent time in Oakland. So far there's been a few Rickey Henderson's, even a Chris Denorfia, and now a Huston Street!

And I'll second PATP, way to keep up the pace! Very Ripken-esque, though to a lesser degree, I suppose.

  3. Haha, yes, I suppose Ripken would not be so quick to praise the effort just yet. Now, maybe if I did 2632 consecutive posts he might give a smile and a nod. If I thought I could something like that off, it would be fun to do. Let's see, if I did this for every season now on, with roughly 182 days per season, I'd have to do it for about 15 years. Eh, who knows. Haha!

On a more serious note, though, thanks for your encouragement!
