I'm sorry, were the Browns playing today?

When you leaf through the daily scores and come across one that reads "17-7," you might take a moment to make sure you're in the right section. Yes, 17-7 is the score by which the Cleveland Browns, er, Indians got their proverbial butts handed to them by the Brewers. While I would venture to say that Thorzul is doing quite the victory dance, those of us still chanting "It's Tribe Time Now" are perhaps not quite as vocal as usual.

The real kicker is that this score comes in the face of Cliff Lee and Travis Hafner. Lee gave up two runs on three hits and Pronk struck out and popped out. Yeah, it's just a pre-season game and all, but these are supposed to be the stars of the team. Let's hope things can only go up from here.

  1. It can't be the Browns. Maybe 17-3 or 17-0, but there's no way the Browns could score 7.

    And, I'm not worried...yet.

  2. When I saw the title of this post, I was thinking that it would be the St. Louis Browns ...
